Newbie here. Have been told the production starts on the 6th Jan 2020. Does anyone know how long from there? I saw posts of recalls due to front camera heating up although No posts after the 26th November. Hoping this issue is water under the bridge and won’t stop production? I have been waiting for a long time as the vorsprung edition was not available due to the running boards issue.

    many thanks for info.

    cheers Miglania

I believe the Front Camera issue is resolved for new builds now as it was only in a specific timeframe. That issue only affected the 2020 Facelift Q7 4M's that were built in the factory upto the 14th November 2019. After that date, cars that were built had the fix "built-in"

So I would expect a 3-4 month wait on average...

Thanks Andy. have enjoyed reading ur posts and the knowledge you have on the Audi’s. I can’t wait to get the car and I hope there are no issues with it. I had an Xc90 the face-lifted one which was plagued with lots of issues and teething problems.

want to stay with the German brands in my lesson learnt. Thanks again.
