Anyone else going through 5l of ready mix screen wash a week? I know it does the headlights and the windows back and front (A6 Avant) but 5l a week? Thought i had a leak at first!

Lots of variables. Guessing time of year by how dirty my car is vs 4-8 wks ago.

How many miles are you covering a week?

50 miles a day. 250 a week ish? Rubbish weather at the minute but still. Ive had audis before and never got through it like this.

I was until I washed the car at the weekend! Going through less now. The link above about fluid being used to wash the adaptive cruise control sensors makes sense! When my car was dirty, I would hear what sounded like the skoosher pump running every time I drove off after starting the engine. Could never work out why/where it was skooshing. Now the car is clean, I don't hear the skoosher pump running anymore when I drive off!

Yes it is a good site, however so is this one () and AudiWorld is very North American centric so a lot of the questions are not relevant to European spec vehicles
