3.0tdi Quattro which gearbox

I have a 59 plate A5 Convertible with the 3.0 TDi and Quattro drive train and a 7 speed gearbox. I'm trying to find out when I need a gearbox service but I don't know which box I have. The Audi website says I have a S-tronic but it does not behave like a DSG and drives much more like an torque converter auto.

Could some one please let me know which box is fitted?

Hi,

Your car should have a build sticker showing the engine and transmission (gearbox) codes. You can usually find it in either the spare wheel well in the boot and/or the inside cover of the service book. If you can post these up, someone will be able to tell you what specific engine and gearbox you have.

I think JKS is a 7-speed S-Tronic box. Someone will be along shortly to correct me if I'm wrong

Soory to butt in on this post. I have a KXS KCcgearbox. Does anyone know if it requires oil changes. I think it is not a s tronic, but an old fashioned Torque convertor box.
