New Audi A4 Avant

Hi,

Just purchased a new A4 Avant sline tfsi 40. Only had the car for a couple of days. I've just noticed there is no wireless charging box under center arm rest. I don't remember this being an option when I originally placed the order.

Anyone know why this is missing?

Hi, it's definitely an option - 325£ option at that, here, check the attached picture.

Thanks for the info Sibmets. I think that pricing may be for the older version before the car has been facelifted. It's mentioning Technology pack at the bottom of the page. They no longer offer this pack and have made more equipment standard

It is no longer an option on the 2020 A4, nor is it part of the standard equipment. More penny-pinching by Audi, same as the disappearance of the CD/DVD/SD/SIM head unit, and the USB connectors that were in the arm rest.

There are so many options that have been dropped. e.g. you can no longer spec heated rear seats. I'm waiting on a 2020 Black Edition - you can't even choose the alloys !
A small number of packs are the way it seems to be going - all down to the new emission testing regime.
Not expecting a wireless charger on mine. That said it is easy enough to fix that. You might even get some meatballs.
