    Hi All,
I have just swapped from my much loved 58 plate golf to a 13 plate 3.0 tdi Q5.
Ive only done 300 miles in it so far, and first impressions are very good. Tested at 60 mph over 150 miles returned 48 mpg, which I’m pretty chuffed with. I’ll test it over the same distance next weekend, at 75 mph.

Anyway, when returning home on the Bay Gateway, the nav didn’t recognise the road, even though it’s been open for over 3 years.
    Clearly the system needs updating...
Can this be done without handing over my hard earned to the main ********?
    Thanks in advance.

very much so, various ways, one is that if your not techy minded is to go to ebay, compiled disks/sd cards are around for 15-40 quid - so just plug and play, or you can go to the vw website and download an update for free, but that does involve a bit of mucking about.

Unfortunately I’ve not got anywhere with this, all the nav updates available on eBay are for Bnav systems. Mine is a HNtype.
