Hey guys, I currently have a B7 A4 Avant S Line, 2.0 TDI. I have had the car for just under ten years & still love it but thought I'm overdue a change & always wanted a face lift C6 Avant in the 2.0 170. First off, is there much difference between a loaded S Line & the Le Man's? Is there anything I should look out for in this car, mechanical issues like the B7? I live in NI but willing to travel for the right one. 😉 Any advice/help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
    Regards... Graeme

    Hi,

The Le Mans (facelift) had the following options added over and above the standard S line spec:
    19” ‘7-double-spoke design’ alloy wheels
    Heated front seats
    Lighting pack
    Acoustic parking system – rear
    Le Mans Edition badging
    Metallic paint

I have an old A6 brochure PDF from back in the day. Send me a PM if you'd like a copy

    Cheers!

    MF.

My mate had the 3.0tdi Le Mans.
lovely mover, very smooth with the V6 diesel, made a decent sound.

the suspension was rock hard!!! Not sure I could have lived with it myself.
Performance wise, there wasn't much in it between my A8 D3 3.0 TDi and his Le Mans.

thatll be the 19s with rubber bands - mines on the stiff side, I can only imagine what the low profiles would do to it. But they are a very nimble car for the size of them.

Yep, 19's with 35 series tyres. Every stone and bug on the road was felt.
    cornered rather well though.

Well guys, just prior to the Christmas holidays i managed to bag myself a mid 2010 Daytona Grey 2.0 TDI Le Mans Avant. Have to say it's a beautiful car! I need to give it a good detail to bring out its true quality. One thing which isn't a big issue but is to me, the engine under tray hasn't been refitted after one of its services which I find annoying! These things are fitted for a reason! So, would there be anybody in NI who would be parting with a used one (and fittings) rather than Audi's colossal price for a new one?
    Regards... Graeme

health to enjoy, My own under tray is a bit worse for wear and i did a bit of digging. I found aftermarket ones on ebay with all new fixings for about £50. They also claim to be unbreakable with videos of blocks being dropped on them. I haven't got one yet so cannot comment any further.
