When asked, my dealership "honoured" the price quoted on the Audi official site £749 for front discs and pads vs £949 originally quoted by them. Still not cheap but considering I get genuine parts and overall cheaper than a few independents around, I went ahead.. I thought I would get better quality job going official but the brake warning light came on during pick up & car not washed, which resulted in another couple of hours wait there, I am not so confident now lol..

I have seen your link to the video for Q7 4L brake job in another thread Retom, doesn't look too bad I might try DIY it next time around, thanks for that!.. Some nice savings to be made! Would be nice if there are videos for our exact car but they are so difficult to find, and the discs are properly heavy (I've asked the dealership to leave the old parts in the car)!
