I’m trying to understand how the DAB radio works on my 2013 CC’s RNS315 in comparison to the RCD510 in my mum’s 2012 Golf Match.

On the RCD510, where a station broadcasts in both FM and DAB, you can pick either station or switch between them depending on signal (I think).
On the RNS315 it seems that there is only the FM option (even if the station also broadcasts in DAB), and DAB stations are DAB only (so only broadcast DAB).

An example of this is BBC Radio 2. On the RCD510 I can listen to this station on FM or DAB and switch between the two. On the RNS315 I can only listen on FM, it doesn’t show on DAB.

Also the list of DAB stations on the RNS315 seems to be very limited – I can get things such as Virgin Radio, Absolute 80’s/90’s, Planet Rock, but I can’t see things such as Radio 6 music or any BBC stations actually. I thought there were a lot more stations than this?

Can anyone advise if there is a setting I can change or if it’s a limitation of the head unit?
