I've just bought a 2013 CC GT 2.0TDI, and looking to improve some of the external lighting

Firstly the reversing lights are pretty hopeless - I can hardly see anything in the dark (tinted rear windows don't help!), and even the brake lights seem to do a better job!

Are there any upgrades I can get for these bulbs?

Similarly, I find the Xenon headlights to not be as bright as far reaching as on my previous car (which had Bi-Xenon headlights and 5000k bulbs).

How easy is it to change the Xenon bulbs on the CC? I did do it quite easily on my old car (Saab 9-3).

Osram Night Breaker Laser Xenarc Next Generation for viability but won't be 5000k , for that is the Cool Blue Intense version .

For reversing bulbs , what type do you have ? I've had lots of success with Cree led types of 80-100W , but they can be hit and miss Canbus wise of working in a Merc but not a Vauxhall !

    Thanks for the reply.

Regarding Xenon bulbs, I did look at Night Breaker Laser bulbs for my previous car, but think they were a bit pricey, and ended up going with some other Osram OEM's, which were basically the same as the factory 4300k bulbs.

A few months later, I found these bargain bulbs at less than £12 a pair, and decided to swap the Osrams out with these at 5000k. I couldn't fault them for the price, and in the short time i had my car after putting these in, they were excellent.

I wondered if there was something similar for the CC I could try, and if they are easy to fit? Would these fit? My old car (Saab) had D2S bulbs, and I've got a feeling the CC are D3S?

For reversing bulbs, I don't know what type I have - assume they are OEM ones. I'd consider LED, but like you say can be a bit tricky with Canbus from what I've read (generally speaking).

I wouldn't mind doing the same for the front DRLs, but might be more hassle than it's worth.

Can somebody confirm the xenon bulb type for the CC please?

I can't find anything in the Manual, and some websites say DS1 and others say DS3!
