Hi guys, i could really do with some help, i have a 2004 B6 Avant with a drivers door heated mirror that has stopped working, the passanger mirror and the rear screen work no fine and i have checked the mirror element and its good, my problem is no voltage to the terminals i have power to the door and everthing else works, mirror adjustment, window, locking. I had a spare window motor/door controller so changed this and still i have no voltage to the door mirror. I would appreciate any input im under the impression that when the rear window demist button is pressed a signal is sent to to the door controller to open a relay and put power to the mirror but dot really understand how this is done.

I`ve not owned an Audi which requires rear screen turned on for mirror heating. Have you done a continuity test of the wiring from the mirrors to the door control module?

A common place for wire breaks is in the loom between the door and A pillar.

Yes, i have continuity between the mirror and the door control module, the mirrors just come on and off with the rear window demister
