Audi Q7 Interim Health Check Call (CS Rep...Slyly slips in Diesel Software Update into the conversation [emoji16][emoji1696])

Anyone had Audi Call up recently asking to carry out "Complimentary Health Check" on their Q7 and then cleverly suggest and slip in the "Diesel Emissions corrective" software update into the conversation while the health check is carried out,??

They also went on to say NOT everyone being offered it are actually accepting the "software update"

...hmmmm... (also beingbit tight lipped on the whole thing on probing further too)

I thought the latest Q7 weren't on the list of cars AFFECTED by the whole EMISSIONS SCANDAL.

In any case.. I just wanted to put this out to know if anyone else had this conversation or update from Audi as yet with regards to the whole vehicle Diesel Emissions Reporting Scam?

"I'm sure more people would actually feel cheated by whole thing , and wonder if anything more could have been done too...."

Its MY 17 order... with 16reg in the UK.. I think the Emissions Scandal all came to fore in late 2015

..

Wouldn’t surprise me if our engines were dodgy - as the news broke I remember about 3-4 weeks before I collected version 1

I might just apply it .. I wonder if it also changes the way the ODO reports reports expected mileage from a FULL tank too

...

I have never got anywhere close to those ranges ever since 2016..

No way I will accept it. Didn’t someone post that it triples the adblue consumption? I’ve only got the 12l tank so can’t be bothered filling up 3 times more often!

Really wow.... software update to correct false reporting actually affects the real consumption, i was actually thinking it just masks the readings of any emissions

... Still all a bit snidy ai... So that would make certain batches of Q's or cars worse of than those produced in different years , doesn't make sense, which is why I guess I thought to question and get a general consensus it in the 1st instance,.. will need for other comments/experiences too

So we would go from every 3k or so miles to every 1k - May need to start carrying Adblue

I think it's worth waiting for first hand information.

For me, a three times more consumption seems too ridiculous to be true.

IMHO, with such a difference, no emission test could be passed.
