I've had the emissions fix applied (it was done as a campaign when the car was MOT'd in Septmeber) I used to get about 10k miles on 10l of Adblue, I've just put 10l in today, so i'll be able to let you know if the rumors are true in about 3k miles

I picked up an 18 plate Q7 6 weeks ago (pre 50 tdi). I don't know if it's had this update, but it's only done 6000 miles and it's telling me it needs AdBlue and it has a 24 litre tank!

That's bloody ridiculous if you ask me.

Depends if dealer filled the tank during PDI or just left it. They don't tend to come full from factory. Also AdBlue rate will depend on driving conditions and style. e.g lots of start stop driving in town vs lots of motorway.

About 80% motorway miles. Lifetime mpg showing as 34.8mpg so far.

Will fill the AdBlue up this time and see how we go. I am hoping that it wasn't full from new or PDI, because that would be woeful if it was.

Will speak to Audi when it's booked in see what dribble they provide, probably not going to be anything helpful, depending on how much I like the explanation I may just decide to apply the update and call it a day... Not sure how else to make an educated decision

Does anyone know if a carst engine management system or Audi's in this case, has a counter that stores info about how many times an engine or AdBluet had been filled if so will a device like that ODB Eleven device or any such device be able to read that to get and average..

Probably not but thought I'd ask..
    Cheers

    Thanks
