    Hi,

Does anyone know if you can swap a complete DSG gearbox from a 2014 2.0 TDI car into my 2009 DSG 2.0 Passat?

Or would this require extra parts? I was hoping it could be plug & play and just as simple as a VCDS reset?

    Thanks,
    Gary

You would probably need the mechatronic controller for the gearbox and there is a good chance it will be component protected. You need to supply engine codes if you want to know if the gearbox would fit. I can't help but I'm sure some members will know.
