    hi guys i am not having much luck lately
    had a broken clock spring,replaced it with second hand one with same part number
    but getting message initialising.. but it goes no further any ideas ? mechanic put stalks on from replacement clockspring,should he put my old stalks on with new clockspring will this work?

    nothing to do with your stalks, Has he done the calibration? Ensured the clock spring is in the centre position prior to install? Whats the current fault code shown?

    And if it wasn’t in centre position prior to fitting, it’s most likely buggered now

    hi he was going to have a look before he went home from work so not sure yet .i will see him tomorrow and report back

    just collected car. all sorted now . don't know what the issue was as the boy who did it was not there but all ok now thanks for your help
