2.0TDI/204 Oil Consumption?

Hi All,

Had my 2.0 TDI/204 BE Avant for just shy of 3 months now and I’ve noticed the oil level is showing 1 bar in the MyAudi app and low on the in- car display

Has anyone else had any issues?

How many miles in that time and what was the level when you first got it?

That would help! On ~3,500 now and about 150 when it was delivered.

Have to admit I didn’t check oil level when it was delivered as assumed that it was checked / topped up as part of PDI.

Mine is a little over 2 wks old, I will check the level on mine.

Not uncommon for some engines to need topping up before service time.

Curious, did you get the free 1 litre of oil? Guessing your oil level was under half from new.

I would simply add haf a litre.

How do you find the My Audi app? Is it worth downloading?

Didn’t get any oil, it’s a contract hire. Last one had some oil and the iPhone usb lightning cable - this, nowt.

I’ve had a few A6 before so have spare oil. Still 5/30?

App is OK. Good for checking in on the cars location if you’re away, check it’s locked etc.

Thanks. Not sure I really need the App, as I had hoped remote start/pre heat.

Appears not to be a UK option, shame!

I put 300ml in mine after the first 1000 miles.
I see your adblue level is pretty low too. Mine is only showing 2400km after driving 1600km!

Not sure why you think his Adblue is low. It is saying more than 1491 miles which is the default for it not requiring a top up. Regarding oil, I added about 500ml after about 3k miles and not been prompted to add any since. I find the app is very random in how much oil it thinks the car has and is not necessarily in agreement with the display in the car. oh for a good old fashioned dipstick!
