They are not right or left hand drive specific, For an X chassis post serial 200 001 APU manual ETKA saya 8D0 407 271 AQ left and and 8D0 409 272 AQ right so when I looked it up at home the other night I got it wrong, trying to do complex stuff on an iPad...

I had a look on the system I was using at home (no ETKA at home) and it gets it wrong, it's why I [prefer to use ETKA at work.

Okay so what should I do? I've compared both the AQ Drive shaft and the DL driveshaft side be side and they seem identical but if we can confirm the correct part and length for the passenger side I can go ahead and repair the problem

For the time being I've began stripping the passenger side down for repair.

    Thanks

Very few manufacturers or reconditioners specify the length.

Okay well I measured the gap without driveshaft in place today before removing everything and it was 640mm I'm hoping once it's all back together and the lower arm in the correct place it will be 620mm but if there's a way to confirm what length the passenger should be for my car I can get the right one

At the moment the lower arm is now back in the correct place I just need to put the hub assembly back on which I will hopefully do tomorrow now.

All back together measuring 620mm so just need the correct driveshaft as that one I ordered the holes are to small for the diff cup.

The parts system I used gave the one for the 1.6 engine, ETKA shows the correct numbers as 8D0 407 271 (left) and 272 AQ (right)
