    I guess it's starting point to get us used to "connected" rear lights and to help us shift our opinions towards switching to electric vehicles when they will just replace the chrome strip with brake lights cluster (as found on many electric cars). I don't like it either (same goes for fake exhausts).

    I think the A6 BE and Vorsprung come with the strip blacked out which is why I was surprised it was chrome on the Q7

    I quite like the strip - and seeing pre facelift models now looks quite bland at the back in my view.
    But I see it everyday and have probably got used to it now!
