Found your email in my spam folder... keeps happening for some reason.

Before you jump from the nearest high window, lets just go through a few things.

The Water pump has been replaced with 03L 121 011 P or a top quality equivalent?

The thermostat has been replaced with the specific version required for a pre 17/05/10 CAYC engine with a 92°c>107°c type, part number 03L 121 113 B? If you have used an aftermarket version the application needs double checking.

Does it actually overheat or is it that you feel it is? Note the opening temp of the thermostat!

Have you made sure the additional electric water pump actually works, they are very prone to failure and don’t always give a fault code?

Have you watched the temp in measuring blocks to see what it actually is?

Well the water pump was replaced with a quality replacement or spec with metal impeller. Fact is I've checked temps in measuring block and it is overheating up to around 117 degrees I've had it maximum. Both thermostats are 92 degrees opening as you stated. One was first line so I changed it for a gates one. The gauge doesnt move from 90 but you can feel it bubbling and you open the expansion tank and off it overflows and bubbles

Do you know the additional electric water pump on the front of the block is working?

Yes this works absolutely fine. After weeks of head scratching I've decided to pull the engine and just put another one in it and transfer over the cambelt from the other one. All the good bits I will sell off it to try and get some money back.

Remember to either swap the injectors or recode the ECU to the new ones.
