Can someone help me with part numbers for my A6 Quatro? the advisory says "Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement Nearside (and also Offside) front lower".
Can the bushes be replaced or would it be new parts? does anyone have a schematic with parts identified????? Need help identifying parts please. 2007 saloon

You can buy the bushes original, aftermarket or performance oriented but is it the pin or the ball joint? The faulty arms need to be identified and the fault defined but most people just fit new arms and the choice of manufacturers is HUGE, from Chinese ultra budget to h/d better than original or indeed original so if it is what I think, the so called “control arm” 4F0 407 151 A AKA front lower forward link or strut link, then you can pay from £224.27 genuine and warranted for 2 years parts and labour or as little as £35 for something with a first lamppost warranty...

Found Lemforder parts at £80.00 each plus fixings, also found Vaico at £42.00 ea. Are Vaico a quality part to use?? Can't understand a £38.00 per unit difference.

Fit Lemforder if you want the part to last. It's most likely a lemforder part on the car and it's lasted 12 years.

The original parts are usually TRW but Lemforder are very good.

Sorry for re-visiting this post, finally got round to getting the parts fitted, my friend took it into a garage where we could get it up on a ramp for ease of access only to find the MOT inspector had actually marked the near side and off side rear lower, not happy after paying £170 for the fronts as advised on the MOT. can anyone advise the part numbers for these parts now??
