    Hi,

I've had my used A6 Avant for the last couple of weeks, its great I love it.

I'd like to fit some cup holders in the rear arm rest for the kids to use. My car doesn't have the storage pack so it's got a black piece of plastic where the cup holders should be.

I've brought a OEM cup holder from audipartsdirect but i'm not sure how to fit them. Does anybody how to fit them? Example Image of the cup holders below. Thanks,

    x2.

Was shocked when my daughter complained.

I would also like to retrofit this. I thought cup holders were standard.

    Rappy.

    Hi Jamsandwitch,

I just notice you mentioned you bought OEM rear armrest cup holder from audipartsdirect.
would be possible to mention the part number or take a pic from part you bought.

I'm new to this group and I'm expecting delivery for my A6 Avant BE with Tech Pack and Comfort Sound, but without storage pack.

    Thanks

I think this what you are after. It is a bit rediculous they don't come with cupholders as standard!

    Cheers,

Hi Jamsandwitch, today i've been to my dealer and he has in stock the cupholder part. My question is: Did you manage to install on your car? Did it fit without any problem on the actual armrest? Because the dealer was concerned that would be a possibility it would not fit on the same armrest. Perhaps it would be a different fitting.

    Hi,

Yep I got it fitted and working fine. I paid a local garage to do it in the end as I didn't want to risk damaging the arm rest. The fitting only cost me £30, which I was pretty pleased with.

That was going to be my next question. Guessing more in total than the £100 Audi quoted.

That is my only niggle with Audi. Talk about cost cutting on a 50k car.
