“Tyre pressure monitoring system unavailable”

I have a 2016 CC R-Line with 19k mileage, 2 weeks after buying it I have this warning flash up on the dash every time I start the car

TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM UNAVAILABLE

I scanned with CARISTA which says

ABS - 02214 - tyre pressure warning

I took it to a VW specialist who charged me £244 and apparently fixed the problem but a day later it’s back, I don’t want to take it back there to be charged for more work that isn’t going to fix it.

It’s driving me crazy, I’ve done a bit of searching and digging around but can’t find anything similar.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my cars and I’m absolutely gutted my beautiful new CC is doing this.
