    Hi everyone,

    I have a passat 1.8 20v saloon,
Trying to get it running as it should again.
Keeps on throwing these two codes up, wondering if anyone could help please.

I've already cleared 3 others by changing the MAF sensor, had a look round hoses quickly for any holes and changed 2 but could be more.

    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

More bothered about the p1593 code really,
Temp sensor is a relatively cheap fix although it's in quite an awkward place.
Spent months working through various problems with car, just down to these two now

I have the old PRINTED manual at work for the ADR, our A4 loan car has the same engine... spent a lot of time on the ADR over the years. Mind you it is temporarily dead due to an air bag ECU fault and the one it needs is a 96 model year only, obsolete from Audi and 500 Euro from Germany new. Tried a used one and same fault!

For its age it's not a bad car, it's my first car had it for 2 years now and served me well.
I'm no mechanic but everything I've done so far has been fairly straightforward and not too expensive.
Lots of help on here and a manual has seen me through it.
Get rid of this code and I'll be happy.

The VAG manual does not list 18001 for an ADR of any year in Audi or VW, are you sure it is not 18010?

It did have 18010, I reset codes and that didn't come back.
Got coolant temp sensor on order, will see what happens when I get that on.
