Hi, I just fixed my (Bora) ABS fault by replacing the front os wheel sensor, which is good, but I now have the ESP warning light...

Does the new sensor need to be coded in, or something?

Would the ESP light be an MoT fail?

Thanks. As usual, I'll post this in Golf IV too.

Doesn’t need coding. Yes, will fail.
    Read fault and post.

What is the fault code that is stored in the ABS?

    Hi

I dunno; don't have a fault code reader.

You need to know, you could fix the fault but if you don’t clear the fault code, the light will stay on.

    OK, I borrowed a reader and it's:

    00493
    ESP- sensor unit
    (G419)

Says something about possible wiring between brake electronics J104 and G419. Anyone know where either of them live?

    Thx
