    Default Shell Helix Ultra Oil Shelf Life – 10-09-2019,08:37 PM
    As I am changing the oil in my Audi A6 Avant 2.0 Ultra every 9,500 miles with the oil that has been used since new, i.e. Shell Helix Ultra Professional AV-L 0W-30, I am buying the 5L plastic cans online to give to my local garage to do the oil change, as they use Castrol. I now got a couple of such cans with a manufacturing date of October 2015, or 4 years ago. The cans are unopened and like new, and they even came in a Shell cardboard box in good nick, but I could not find online any specs of the Shell Helix oils in regards to their shelf life. Anyone can shed some light on this topic, by any chance, specifically the Shell Helix Ultra Pro oils, which are Fully Synthetic? Thanks a lot!
