Is the 'drivers door open' graphic on the dashboard working? If not then possibly the microswitch in the driver's door lock has stopped working. This happened to mine, so rather than strip the whole door down, I used a dremel to cut a flap in the 'hidden' part of the door skin adjacent to the microswitch. As I recall, l couldn't remove the switch to check it out without breaking the mounting so I thought I'd try switch cleaner/wd40 and tapping it with a screwdriver! Obviously got lucky, because it's worked ever since. I pushed the metal flap back and covered it with duct tape. No guarantee this will fix it of course, but if you have a dremel or equivalent it's quick and might be worth a try initially. Otherwise might be problems elsewhere in the wiring or central convenience module? Maybe someone else can advise on that. Hope this helps.
