    Hi all,

I've had the following come back:

01810 - Actuating Motor for Temperature Flap; Right (V159)
    000 - -
    00710 - Defroster Flap Positioning Motor (V107)
    000 - -
    01592 - Air Quality Sensor (G238)
    014 - Defective

And there is a problem with the HVAC (only blowing cold on one side) so i'm going to go through the dashboard removal guide i've found on here but my question is that firstly are ALL three components located behind the dash (i'm assuming the motors are but not sure about the sensor) so i don't find i have to remove the dash twice but secondly will i be able to start the car and test it all works once fixed fully before having to replace the dash ?

Thought it best to check beforehand.

    Thanks

    Ian

You can test operation of the flaps using VCDS Output tests.

The air quality sensor isn't under the dash, it's in the plenum chamber. It only allows automatic switching to recirculating mode so not essential unless you really must have that feature.
