    Might be a stupid question but engine cover looks bolted in? what is needed if so? thanks

    Would help if we knew which engine, on the 1.9 tdi all you need is a 10mm socket, pop the caps off (if they are still there) and undo the nuts, take off the oil filler cap and take out the dipstick, it then lifts off.
