    hi, not had my passat for long and generally v happy with it.

    however last weekend, i got 2 errors on my diagnostics, one was related to glow plug 1 which i have now replaced and the error has cleared, the other error code appeared on saturday but hasnt re appeeared that code was P0322

    Its related to the crank position sensor, Ive ordered a new one but does anyone know where its fitted,

    mines a 14 reg passat

    It is actually the speed sensor and is utterly evil to change. The oil filter housing has to come off (new gasket and bolts are a MUST) and then you have to get at the bolt using a 5mm ball end hex key as the access is not straight. Round out the head of the set screw and the next step is gearbox out and flywheel off so use a brand new key and take your time.
