    I've got a MY2016 A6 Avant 2.0Tdi Black Edition and would like to know if the electric windows should open from the remote?

    On my previous MY2010 model if I held the door unlock for a prolonged period the windows would open. The opposite would happen if I locked the car and held the button.

    Has this feature been removed and if so can it be turned on in hidden menu?

    it should be able to be activated with vcds

    There is a setting in the MMI check that. Might just need to check the box

    You could try putting all 4 Windows down and then back up and then trying remote again, I'm led to believe that this resets it.
