Idling 780 rpm Slightly shaken, sensed by the steering wheel and the sun visor vibrates.

However, when the idling speed is 950 rpm, all vibrations disappear and the car is quiet.

    What is the possible reason?

    Passat B8 TDI 2.0 150hp

The car is not old, only 3 years and 30 km mileage. Driving prefect and provide the best service.

    Thank you very much

Never have any issues at the lower idle, the higher idle is only when cold or when doing a DPF regen so it sounds like you might something a bit lose under the bonnet

Hi Frank, Thank you for your reply.
btw, I solved the heater pipe vibration issue in the last weekend, I didn't go to dealership, from the German forum news, simply bind the heater pipe by cable tie in the engine bay side. The vibration totally disappeared. Your "Code ‘51 LAB’" work maybe the same.

Good news - I got the impression it was a 5-minute job and didn’t need any parts! I’d have done the same but as it’s under warranty I thought it would be worth them doing. In France so have done plenty of miles and it’s been markedly quieter than before since the service
