Car Net Cost?

My Passat GT Estate is one month short of 3 years, doesnt time fly!

I just logged into my Car Net account online to add some new destinations for sat nav.

I got a message to say my 3 year subscription was coming to an end and to renew, but none of the links work.

I didnt even realise it was subscription based but presumably first 3 years was complimentary.

Now the only thing I use Car Net for is downloading destinations and then importing in my car via WLAN/mobile hotspot. I am not interested in weather reports or news or finding petrol stations etc!

Two questions, does anybody know the subscription cost and if I dont renew are any basic services still provided?

I think a subscription is required for live traffic via WLAN hotspot too.

The car net function is not necessary at all. My car is also GT and trial the car net few weeks. The mobile app is hard to use and infotainment system is very slow internat access by wlan/hotspot. I don't think it value up tp hundreds of pound to subscription after three year contract.
