After a couple of years away from Audi with a RRS I just couldn't handle the LR sat nav/ICE any longer and today put a deposit down on a 2019 Q7 s-line with black styling pack , I haven't seen the car yet but have seen similar in the show room albeit a 45 not 50 tdi , anyway after checking the spec tonight I see the colour is 'Deep Black' not Orca like my last Q7 and the majority on sale . Looking on the Audi configurator the only black options are Night Black or Orca Black . Is Deep Black just another name for night black i.e solid finish or is it a different colour altogether , I can only find one other Q7 on the approved used sigh in deep black but impossible to tell if it's metallic or not .
All that aside I'm really excited to be getting back to an Audi

Turns out it was a mistake and should have read 'Night Black'. The one at the dealers was also night black and looked really good , but will it stay looking good or will it get covered in swirl marks really quick and go dull in comparison to metalic , I've never had non metalic before so it's all new to me .

It's because of the facelift coming that I went and got a quote on a Q7 as we knew there would be some major discounts , we bought the rrs just before the facelift to make it more affordable and to be honest I don't like touch screen , much prefer the control wheel in current model for most inputs , really like the sat nav being up on top of the dash too , all things I missed when we moved to the rrs

Cool - not sure if this was across the Audi Q7s or just US but check the if the sat nav screen pops back down or if it is now just stuck up (I.e the button on the dash to ‘fold’ the screen back in to the dash has ‘gone’
