Audi A6 2018 sat nav mystery

So I have just purchased a 2018 Audi A6 and there seems to be a missing ad card for the sat nav.. now in my old Vw scirocco I could just purchase this said as card and pop it in a wullahhhh .. can this be done with this car. I have friend that has a A6 2018 for his company car and still has the said maps sd card.. and also a 6 digit code on the from which we both presume it is the activation code . If I was to purchase this from him could I add it to my car.. use the code and boom.. all done ? Thank you for any help you can give me

Nope, maps need to be activated VIA ODIS (Audi dealers) there is no other way around this.

Thank you for this swift reply. So I guess the said Ed is worthless then also as it will need activating regardless of the activation code

Talk with you local Audi dealer, after all the car is only a year old they may be able to help.
