    Hi Friends

I have a doubt on the injector programming for my VW passat.

I have a 2005 PASSAT 2.0 Tdi BKP engine. One of the Injector on my engine has failed and hence needs replacement.
But local mech mentioned that the injector if replaced needs to be coded / programmed to Engine Control Module, hence it is better to recondition the failed injector and fit it.
Is this true, if yes, how to get the coding / programming done for the replaced injector.
Appreciate any suggestions / help on this please.
Its not a new injector but I got but a fully working injector from a different BKP engine.

So do i need to program/set values?

    Cheers

No, Pumpe Duse unit injectors do not need coding whereas later Common Rail injectors do. BKP is a Pumpe Duse (PD) engine.
