21583 - Loss of Crankshaft Synchronization

Had this come up a few times now, is it just a case of a crank sensor on these 3.0 V6 TDi's?

Sat here waiting for fault scan to run and noticed it seem to miss/judder a few times a min sat idling, not sure if related or not.
