    You did, and without wishing to appear ungrateful, it only contains information on the outbound flow from the OSCU to the horn (page 34/19)
    There is no info about the inbound flow from the horn push/clock-spring/loom etc - that is what I needed last weekend.

    Anyway, I managed to find a T5 schematic online, which has the same clock-spring.

    I found the problem - I buzzed out the wires through the clock spring.
    There is no ground present to the steering column/wheel, and hence no ground on the brown/yellow wire (T5G/3) back to the controller module when the horn push is activated.

    There is an unused earth on the brown wire on the loom side of the clock-spring (T5G/2), and emerges on the wheel side of the clock-spring as T5K/4.
    I took a flying lead from the unused T5K/4 and tapped that wire to the body of the steering wheel - all is good.

    The next task is to ascertain why the column is not grounded, but that's a different issue.
