BiTDi Gearbox oil sump replacement.

I was going to change my oil in my bitdi gearbox today, as its something i generally do on these zf boxes, got the filter and the sump gasket, bit more to strip on the BiTDi,
My question is it has a steel sump, and this does not have the normal filler plug, should i be replacing the sump on the 1st change? Is that why audi want around £500 to do this?

If you don't change the sump where do you refill the box?

Cheers, all done now though, appears there is a fill plug on the side of the box.
