I see the new model has just been announced. Can't say I like all the new touch screens, it's a large part of the reason I'm moving away from the Volvo. I just find touch screens are so distracting / difficult to use when you're on the move. You've always got to look down to use them and be accurate enough to hit the right bit of the screen.

+1 with you on that re touchscreens. Prior two cars had them - distracting.

I'm sure there's a lot that can be done with voice controls but they're never very good with my Scottish accent. Got some very interesting text messages sent with CarPlay too

I use the voice controls a lot but when you want to quickly zoom in or out, turning the control is just so much faster and easy to do by touch.

Next they’ll take the wheel off the steering wheel for zooming in an out of the VC and make that touch screen too!
