    Just bought a 2016 a4 b9 , can I get the good Glr maps to work through my iPhone that’s connected to the car as I have loads of data or do I need a SIM card inserted in the car ?

    As far as I know, you need to have something called "Audi Connect" as well as MMI Navigation Plus. Once you've got this setup you can choose between displaying Audi navigation maps on the virtual cockpit or google maps with traffic etc. If you are not sure if you have Audi Connect just setup a myaudi login and enter your car details and it will tell you.
