The G28? You have a fault code for this?

No fault codes apart from glow plug 7 which has been changed
Car was ticking over and then cut out,now will not start.
Read various threads about this and people start with fuses relays fueling system, but they all had codes
Car will turn over strong and fast all dash lights work no immobiliser light or engine fault light
Thought I’d start with what they ended up changing last after they spent a fortune on relays and fuel pumps to no avail.

Do you have VCDS? This will be the BTR engine I think? The engine speed sensor for these is 077 905 381 K which are £115.62 from Audi.

The sensor is under the car bolted into the gearbox a 6 o'clock just aft of the steering rack, very easy with it lifted up.
