    All done, in under an hour. More than happy with it. The functionality is almost exactly the same as in our Q5. The only thing different is that we don't have the moveable scroll wheel, to go left right up and down.

    Same USB ports, so they weren't replaced.

    Definitely worth the £299 if you drive a lot and use WhatsApp. The Google maps is excellent on it too, plus there's now loads more audio apps support it, not just Spotify. BBC Sounds is on there now, as are Google Podcasts.

    Was that done at an Audi dealer? If so, which one as I was quoted just short of £500 at my local.
    From Apr 2017 - now: Oct 2016 (66) Audi A7 3.0 TDI quattro (FL - MY17), 272 ps, Black Edition (Tech pack, Parking Pack, Folding Mirrors), Mythos Black.
    Gone - From Oct 2013 - Mar 2017:
    Mar 2013 Audi A6 C7 S-line 2.0TDi Manual, Daytona Grey.

    Yes, Audi Tyneside. What model year is yours? Does the ASI show up in your MMI settings page?

    Mine is a MY17 A7 and yes ASI shows up (greyed out). Preston Audi is my local - and I'm going to get another quote after seeing your post. Cheers.

    Yes mate, I saw the itemized bill, £220 for the activation pack, which is like a thin DVD case with some installation instructions and 3 lines of codes they have to enter. It's really a 10 minute job max. But they'll charge half an hour labour.
