Hi lads,I've a 04 golf 1.9TDI I bought for spares as needed few bits for my golf and a 02 Audi a4 that's being unused for few years.the Audi gearbox grinds in second other than that its OK I think.would the golf engine and box fit the Audi?both are 1.9tdi.the golf engine is well maintained so prefer to swap it if possible into Audi.

The gearbox's are completely different in design and the engines, although similar, are built up completely differently to match their installation configuration.
