Dynamic Wing Mirror Indicators

Hi All,

So after seeing a couple of Q7's that had visited me for some retrofits with these fitted I decided to take the plunge myself and share the results for you guys in case anyone wanted to do the same.

Online you can buy replacement wing mirror indicators that are "sweeping". They are basically a direct swap, no wiring changes or coding required. Just take the old wing mirror indicator out, and pop this one in - like for like. I did the complete swap in 30 mins (15 mins per side).

I'm really pleased and for the price - I think they are great. Just a shame the Matrix Headlights dont sweep too.

How much did ya pick'em up for inc VAT then Audi dealership direct?


Is it just a case of swaping the bulbs out DIY style no other configs etc...

What skillb level appx novice-to-mediun or expert only ?

They aren't genuine Audi indicators.

Novice. If you can use a window sucker holder to get the glass out and torx screw driver your good to go. No coding or anything. Just unplug and take out old ones and fit new ones. Done.

Nice one Andy. It may be the camera light but is that a splattering of carbon fibre and a matte paint job on the Q? Looks great.

Yes sir. Carbon fibre wrap on the wing mirrors. Whole Car is wrapped in Matte Black.

Do you have a link, as I looked no Ali.. and the ones listed seem to be for Q5 / Q7 but dont look quite the same as yours.
Agree about Matrix headlights not sweeping, looks a big job to sort that out.
