It will come off mate, you have to just give it a good tug. Turn the sucker so its horizontal too. Not pointing up like your pic and the "spare" side of the sucker on the outside of the car.

It will come off... it just needs a good yank! Prob because its got some dirt back there and never been off before. If you want and have some spray a bit of WD40 behind there between glass and housing.. might help... but thats basically the "official" procedure for removing the glass!

I take it's just one rear screw at the top then? Or both step 8..

Can't seem to wiggle top cover off.. Going get the other one off just about see it..

Just neeed to chase up some one at work mentioning that the Matrix "leds" headlights can be set to sweep ..via some coding , looks like a dead end as sure Andy all up on that etc....

Anyways Happy 2 days of UK summer them ... School holidays are bit of bummer tho

Great work Satyp and glad you got it all done. Once the glass is out, its pretty simple as you can see. Thanks for sharing the pics - Sorry, I didnt have ones are detailed as yours but you got it!

As for Matrix Sweeping - Not found it personally - but also not looked in a while. I think its a physical change in the headlights but I'm not certain.. I dont really have the time to look into it at the moment but if/when I do I'll take a ganders... I'm not holding out much hope though.. I can't see the Matrix lights when driving so I just pretend they are sweeping when I'm driving

Hahaha yep.. no worries ..TBH not bothered about matrix SWEEPING and didn't even know until saw this post and decided to get the mirror indicators... Lol

Just as well I'm not here much, can't imagine how more ideas I would be getting to spend more on the Q...

Mine arrived on Feiday and fitted them yesterday,
Fairly straight forward following you guys detailed instructions.
Love the result and at quite a reasonable cost, I thought.
Just two things to add

1, don't mix up the screws there are three different types,
some machined screws some self tappers, some dome heads and some countersunk head.

2, don't know about you other guys but I have virtually lost the brightness of the little repeater on the inside of the mirror,
can only really see it now in the dark. No worries though still happy!!

Yes I agree these lights look fabulous the led strip is dark Blackish and makes my mirror stand out .. not like Knight Rider lol..

Pity I can see the indicators flashing away hahaa..

In any case good to know another result..

I realized about the screws to but as I fit laptop sometimes I was up on it and kept them separate in same line as I removed them.. nice one
