    Hello

I bought a 2004 A4 Avant with the 1.9tdi AVF engine. It has been previously converted from CVT to 6spd manual. However the cruise control doesn't work. I think it doesn't work because it is missing the clutch pedal sensor. I wired the clutch wire to pin 39 on the ecu, which I think is Bosch EDC15, I included a screenshot from VCDS. However, I think that the car has a wrong type of clutch pedal. The clutch pedal sensor doesn't line up with the pedal. The pedal is too far on the left and cannot move. Could it be that someone has installed a pedal from some other audi model, an A6 pedal or something. Now could I just directly connect the clutch pedal wire to the brake switch ground cable or would I be constantly getting redlining when I press the clutch?

Also I would like to ask about the glob plug relay fault. How couls I fix that issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eric

The pedal box/bracket is the same for both which makes life easier but there are two variants of the pedal, 8E1 721 316 and 8E1 721 316 A and an AVF with the 6 speed box uses the "A". The switch you need is 8E0 927 189 B. The clutch switch power feed (same as the brake pedal) goes to pin 66 of the ECU, you can see its status in Measuring Blocks 060, zone 3 (I think) position 3 from the right, 1 = down, 0 = up.

Check the glow plug relay at position 2 is there, not corroded and if it seems OK, check the red/blue wire from terminal 5 to pin 42 of the ECU plug.
