    I have a 2001 2.0litre Beetle and its very thirsty!
    lovely speed but...
    I thought about detuning it as it seems to rev quite high but someone suggested remapping it as its the 21st century!
    can this be done?

    It would have to be a custom map to make it run leaner which would then cause the catalyst to shut down and fail the MOT... Is the engine warning light on?
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...
