As above, stupid i know.. Got a rear brake light bulb gone in our 2003 cab, got the unit out and the bulb holder, but physically cant remove the blown bulb??? Any ideas?

It presses dow nin the sprung holder, down far enough to be able to rotate it out to change, but nothing. Cant apply any more pressure as i know the bulb will shatter

any pointers guys?? Never had this before in 20+ years of motoring..............

I had this on my 02 cabby, allow the bulb to shatter if necessary and with power disconnected pull the bugger out with pliers, just keep the shards clear of fingers.
I know it sounds a tad heavy handed but it was quick and simple
    Good luck
    Stuart

As an after thought, it was slightly corroded in the bulb holder, so maybe a smear of Vaseline or similar would be prudent

We used to use a rubber suction "tool" to remove dinky little recessed lamp bulbs in aircraft panels, a short piece of rubber tubing with a suitable diameter does the same job nicely.
