    Hi all,

My old Symphony II head unit kicked the bucket recently, so I decided to replace it with a Sony double-DIN unit on Friday. I've managed to get it all working nicely, but I'm a bit flummoxed as to what to do with the radio antennas.

The Symphony II had two antenna ports, one with a 'FAKRA' connector and another standard co-ax DIN one, but the new one only has the one DIN input. I bought a fitting kit which included both the co-ax and FAKRA connectors, each of which terminate in a single male DIN connector but my radio reception isn't as good as it was with the Symphony II was with either of them.

Does anyone know if there's a solution to this? Is there a gadget out there that can convert both cables into one co-ax input, or am I looking at a scenario where I have to splice cables? There also appears to be a blue cable for each of the antenna adapters, but I've no idea what to attach them to.

    Cheers!
