So my problem... I had complete loss of power after about 30 min journey and when I tried to start engine , it would turn over but not start...

Got a friend to tow me as I was on my way to his anyway to change some tyres..

I eventually got it to bump start a couple of times, 1st time I lost power after putting the clutch down ..
2nd time was more successful and it has been running with no problems and starting..

Luckily my friend has a code reader and I got the glow plug codes (P0671),(P0672),(P0673),(P0674)

Now my question is will a problem with the glow plugs cause a complete loss of power and non starter?

There was a few other low voltage codes for lights that came up but I assume that they are there as I ran the battery down trying to start it after complete loss of engine power...

I have read the thread glow plugs 101 Part1 and Part2 and will start the investigation on the problem when I have time..
