    Hello I replaced the front suspension with new coil springs and shock absorbers also mount but now it creaks it’s was great for the first 2 weeks and just started ,sounds
    like the coil springs any ideas why it would do that thanks

    Hello the reg is fg60hzf. Wvwzzz1kzbw063617. So the front coil springs bought from smf eurocarparts 1k0411105aq Kyb springs ,the front shock absorber from gsf 1k0413031ac , just trying to find out the shockabsorber mounts I fitted

    The OE spring number you quote is correct and should be ECP number 627446152 and a KYB RH3553.

    The dampers are VAG number 1K0 413 031 BF and Sachs
    312 267

    Any idea what would cause the creaking ,does it in a straight line slightly but more so turning when the weight goes to the one side ,

    No didn’t have the wishbones off and the shock absorbers are amtex

    Never heard of Amtex, a quick Googling suggests they are Chinese. I would only fit Boge, Sachs, Monroe or TRW. If you fitted a damper equivalent to 1K0 413 031 AC then that is OK in theory as the correct 1K0 413 031 BF is a Boge 32-M74-A or a Sachs 312 267 as is the AC version.

    Bought them from gsf not sure I don’t think that’s the creaking I did spray the bushes on the wishbone but made no difference could it be the spring just creaking
